GUIDE
ONE USEFUL WORKFLOW
From a folder
to your Instagram feed.
The guide walks you through the connection and setup. Then you can ask for a post in plain language.
-
01
Connect your account
Connect Instagram to Upload-Post and set up the corresponding ChatGPT connection.
-
02
Give ChatGPT a place to work
Open a local desktop folder in a task that can create files and run tools. Paste the supplied setup prompt.
-
03
Check the connection
Add your private access key, then have the task verify the correct Instagram account without publishing a test post.
-
04
Publish something you’ve finished
Provide your media and caption. Authorize a post now, or choose a date, time, and timezone for scheduling.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
A little setup.
A useful new habit.
This is a publishing guide. Bring finished media and captions; creating the content is outside its scope.
- A desktop ChatGPT Work/Codex task with access to a local folder and permission to run tools.
- An Upload-Post account and an eligible, connected Instagram account.
- Your finished images or video, plus the caption you want to publish.
A regular chat with uploaded attachments alone does not provide the required local access. ChatGPT and Upload-Post are separate services; access requirements and service fees apply.
GOOD TO KNOW
A few details,
before you start.
Is the guide really free?
Yes. Download the PDF and setup prompt directly, without signing up. ChatGPT and Upload-Post service fees are separate. I’m sharing this first edition to hear what is useful and what needs to be clearer.
Do I need to write code?
The setup prompt asks the desktop task to prepare and run the connecting tools for you. You still need to authorize access, connect your accounts, and privately add your Upload-Post key.
What has been tested?
The guide describes successful local image, carousel, and Reel publishing tests. A fresh-folder setup using existing tested supporting code published an image on 2 October 2026. An independent beginner trial, Windows/Linux setup, and a scheduled post reaching its due time still need validation.
Why does the PDF say “AI Praxis”?
The download is the original October 2026 “AI Praxis” easy setup edition, now shared through AI That Works. The companion text file contains the same setup prompt for easier copying.
How can I share feedback or get help?
Tell me where you got stuck or what you published. Message @ai.that.works.guide or send a message through the contact form. For help applying AI to your business, get in touch about consulting.
