Who is Upload-Post for?
A good fit if you …
- want to post regularly on several platforms without uploading everywhere separately,
- work with ChatGPT or Claude and want posting handled there too,
- are self-employed or run a small business or side channel,
- want to answer keyword comments automatically by DM.
Probably not if you …
- need a classic content-calendar interface with team approval loops,
- only post once or twice a month on one platform – then the app itself is enough,
- still have to create your content: Upload-Post publishes, it doesn’t design.
How I use Upload-Post
My workflow for @ai.that.works.guide: the Reels and carousels are made beforehand (video with an AI video tool, texts and graphics myself). Then I tell my AI assistant what should go out when – Upload-Post schedules the post and publishes it at the right time.
What helps most
- Scheduling in one sentence: date, time, caption – the assistant hands everything to Upload-Post.
- Comment → direct message: anyone who comments a keyword under a Reel automatically gets a DM with the link. It boosts reach and saves manual work.
- Pulling statistics: reach, views and likes per post flow into my dashboard every day.
What I learned
- Don’t post too often. When three to four automated posts a day went out on my new account, Instagram temporarily blocked publishing (“suspected spam”). Since then: at most one post a day. That’s Instagram, not Upload-Post – but it affects every automation tool.
- Cover images as JPEG. Instagram only accepts JPEG as a Reel cover; PNG causes an error.
- Check the status. “Scheduled” doesn’t mean “published”. A quick look at the history shows whether everything went live.

Privacy check (EU / GDPR)
- Provider: TONVI TECH SL, Málaga (Spain) – a company within the EU.
- Servers: core systems run at Hetzner in Germany; storage at Cloudflare and Google is set to the EU jurisdiction.
- US service providers: US providers are used for payments (Stripe), some AI features (Google Gemini) and infrastructure, covered by standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- What you share: access to your social media accounts and the content you want to publish. Third parties’ personal data mainly comes up in comments and direct messages.
- My assessment: one of the more privacy-friendly options for social media publishing, because both provider and servers are in the EU.

Upload-Post is a service that publishes or schedules images, videos and text on up to 22 platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and X. You can control it through a web interface, an API or directly from AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude.
Can I post to Instagram with ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes, with Upload-Post. It offers an MCP server that lets ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants publish and schedule posts, fetch statistics and respond to comments. You connect your Instagram account once and then tell the assistant what to post when.
What does Upload-Post cost?
There is a free plan with 10 uploads per month and 2 profiles (without TikTok). Paid plans start at 24 US dollars a month, or 16 US dollars a month billed annually, with unlimited uploads (as of October 2026).
Is Upload-Post GDPR-compliant?
Upload-Post is operated by TONVI TECH SL in Málaga (Spain), and its core systems run at Hetzner in Germany. Its privacy policy is based on the GDPR. Some service providers, for example for payments and AI features, are based in the US and covered by standard contractual clauses.
How often can I post to Instagram with Upload-Post without getting blocked?
That limit is set by Instagram, not Upload-Post. On a new account with few followers, three to four automated posts a day led to a temporary block for suspected spam in my case. One post a day is a safe rhythm for new accounts.
